This former industrial site is only a few hundred metres from the city centre. As you can tell from its overgrown condition it fell into disuse some time ago and currently exists in an intermediary state. At a few places around the perimeter where the bushes are more substantial there are signs of occasional human habitation. Foliage has been pressed inwards near the base, like a low space hollowed out and a shabby mattress installed, presumably by those resorting to sleeping rough. The sun was intense but it was a cold day.
